This feature in PlanWin gives you the ability to create reports from information
entered into the database. You have three options for creating reports:
Basic Reports
This area of PlanWin gives you the ability to easily run standard reports,
such as annual planning information, progress and year-end reports and
other type of standard information that you need to access easily on a
regular basis. The standard reports are defined by the database administrator for
use by all staff.

Extended Reports
Allows each user to design custom reports for situations where the
standard reports are not what is needed. These reports can be designed
for program/country level reporting or the plan/project level. The user can
select any of the pre-defined report elements for their report. Custom reports might
be used for partners, personnel, board meetings or donors. . . . Anyone who needs
specific information to remain informed or make important strategic decisions and
the standard reports don’t provide the right amount of information.
Ad hoc Reports
The ad hoc reporting option provides access to
a general purpose reporting tool. This is the
same tool used (internally) for all the reports in
PlanWin. This makes the full capability of report creation
and generation available to the allowed user. Thus one
can create a fully customized report on any content in the
database. The ad hoc feature is a full-featured report
writing tool built into PlanWin.
